Here's the story...one of these rings was inherited by his two children and both wanted Dad's diamond ring. The solution...duplicate the ring and flip a coin.
The ring turned out so well, I gave it to one of my partners and asked them to pick out the 50-year old ring. The only way to tell was the stamp (14K) on the inside was crisper and newer looking on the duplicate ring. The verdict? Everyone is a winner.
The model was carved by hand, the old-fashioned way of re-creating an older ring. We did this to duplicate the look of the old ring. We were thrilled with the results and the entire ring was made here in the Kansas City area.
