Tanzanite is blue gemstone with violet highlights. It is a relatively new gemstone, discovered in 1967 in Tanzania, near Mout Kilimanjaro. The best color (seen here) has a deep blue hue, with violet undertones. It is a soft gemstone, so we don't recommend setting them in rings that you wear daily. They tend to show scratches and minute chips, so we love to set Tanzanites in necklaces and earrings.
We combined this with diamonds around the triangular Tanzanite and added four diamonds in the body of the necklace.
